These are letters to Jack, my son, and my daughter, Audrey. You have given me the gift of motherhood. This is just a little gift back. I want to share my experiences with you of your childhood from my perspective of watching you grow - of being your Mom.

I'm in the Mood for Christmas!

Jack,

Tonight we are going to celebrate Christmas with my side of the family. Your Uncle Matt and Aunt Lisa made it to Saint Louis after spending an entire day in the airport waiting on standby to try to make it here. (I know - I know - sounds like a dream come true, but I hear it WASN'T!!)

When I get out of work today, we are going over there to have Christmas with them before they have to leave town again to celebrate with Lisa's family. I'm very excited.

I just know you are going to LOVE Christmas seeing as this may be the first year that you understand that opening presents means that there is something inside! FOR YOU!

Last year we unwrapped your presents for you, and you still didn't really understand until they were completely setup in front of you that there was this new toy for you to play with.

I'm looking forward this year to seeing you tear into the presents with all the excitement that I remember having as a child.

'Twas the Night Before Christmas, Little Man!

Love,

Mommy

Here is a Handprint Christmas Wreath that you made. I LOVE IT!:

Yeah!! I can't wait for Christmas to begin! Only 7 more hours!

It reminds me of being a kid, when we used to go to Christmas Eve mass and we could not possibly sit still because we were so excited. It's so much fun to feel like that again.
